Continuous Improvement

   

Definition: Continuous Improvement or Continual Improvement is the ongoing effort to improve yourself, products, services, processes, or an entire organization. These efforts can seek a breakthrough improvement all at once, but are normally aimed at incremental improvement over time.
Many business management approaches have their roots in CI thinking: Kaizen, PDCA Cycle, Total Quality Management, 14 Points of Management, Poka Yoke, Quality Circles, Five S, Seven Wastes, Lean Manufacturing, Benchmarking.
