Post-Merger Integration

   

Definition: Post-Merger Integration is the part of the acquisition process, following the closing of the merger agreement itself, in which the assets, personnel, organizational structure and business activities of the two companies participating in the merger are combined.
A typical PMI process takes several years after the merger agreement is signed.
