Definition: the Theory of Multiple Intelligences is a model of human intelligence by Howard Gardner that differentiates intelligence into a variety of 7 (1983) or 8 (1999) or 9 (2000) only weakly correlated cognitive abilities, rather than seeing it as dominated by a single general ability.
