Dismissal

   

Definition: a Dismissal is the involuntairy termination process in which an employer requires the employee to leave, generally for a reason which is the fault of the employee.
Typical reasons include: attendance problems, poor work performance, problematic conduct, off job-site conduct, conflict of interest, (gross) misconduct.
Also called firing, getting fired (USA) or sacking, getting sacked (UK).
